Alpine revealed some teaser images of its new electric
Alpine is working on preparing its new electric vehicle and recently Renault’s racing and sports car division revealed some teaser images of its upcoming EV hot hatch show car.
It’s called the A290 b (or beta) and it’s currently a concept, with a production version expected to arrive sometime in 2024. It will be unveiled at a launch event in Bristol, UK on May 9.

The A290 is expected to be lightweight, sporty and aimed at driving enthusiasts – like the company’s A110 gas sports car that rivals the Porsche Cayman.
Alpine describes the show car as “a future 100% electric urban sports car to be unveiled in 2024”.
It looks like a small car, with a pronounced bulge on the bonnet and a spoiler upwards on the tail of the roof.

The “Dream Garage” Alpine is talking about is a reference to its future product range, which will include a production version of the A290 hot hatch, plus a next-generation A110 EV sports car and an all-new electric crossover.
EVNT note:
Although belatedly, Alpine seems to be finding its way to producing new electric vehicles since it does not have anything in its wallet so far. We should definitely expect from the French sports car company something special that will not only concern the mechanical parts but also the design.
The French brand with its vast history will not be limited to just one model, but others with sporty characteristics will follow. We’ll have to wait a few days to see what Alpine’s plan is.
